We ventured out for a winter vacation the first week of December. Our first stop was to Las Vegas, a good half-way point.
Day 1
We checked out the water show at Sam's Town and admired the decorations.
Day 2
Then it was Sea World time!
Loved gazing at the beluga whales and walruses.
The best part was a presentation of the Savior's birth complete with singing and dancing. I loved this! The downside is it was freeeeeezing cold. Jackets would have helped a lot.
Saw the sharks and dolphins.
Turtles, penguins, and walruses too.
Kids ran and bounced.
Took one more view in.
And let the spa fish tickle hands on our way out.
Headed to Six Flags Magic Mountain for some fun.
We especially loved the roller coasters.
We bought the photo pass which gave us some fun pictures. Goliath wins the favorite coaster!
Day 6
Passed 25K miles on the van. Stopped at an abandoned waterpark and explored. Cool experience!
Checked out the beautiful Bellagio flowers!
Day 7
Played at the Pinball Hall of Fame and rode the monorail.
Visited M&M World.
Attended the Tournament of the Kings at Excalibur. We were glad to have the experience! And we scored with the Christmas celebration show, which was lively and fun.
Walked back to our hotel at Luxor. Stopped at Hershey World. Poor Scott stubbed his toe. We headed home the next day. Besides the toe; a great vacation!
