New Countertops

We replaced most of the countertops. All of them besides the kitchen and our master bathroom. First up, the basement bathroom.

Sterling's sink

Lincoln's sink

Makayla's vanity

Guest bedroom

Laundry room

Main floor bathroom

We also added a counter downstairs to cap off the game room.

Finally, we experimented with paints until we agreed on one.  We picked the dark one!

October 2020

Lincoln's class made him cards before we moved.  We signed the papers to buy our new home.

Makayla said bye to Lizzy, her best friend.

Audrey's mom had a little farewell party for Makayla. Amy, Bailey, Lizzy, Audrey, and Caroline will miss her and she will miss the lunch bunch.

Went to Cherry Hill one time for the Scary Hill.

Headed to Frightmares for one last hurrah.

Cleaned the mess under the theater chairs, yuck! and passed 24,000 miles on the GMC.

Had a farewell party with my family and met baby Abel for the first time.

Had some crazy days packing and cleaning.  We moved October 6th officially and arrived after midnight, so October 7th technically.

Brother Danny was randomly passing through with his friend Kyle to Cali to go scuba diving. So that was perfect timing and he helped us unload a bunch of stuff.  Also, neighbor Ryan was amazing at helping us.  We were blessed for sure.

Sold the chandelier in Scott's office for $50. And Bryan and Candi saved us by bringing up and packing up their enclosed trailer and drove it down for us.  And Marv and Vickie were awesome to help us too. We went to the Scottish festival as our 1st real outing here and bought bottled root beer.

Another cat has been palling around with Rosco.  We named him Tiny. Rosco is in front-Tiny is behind. And fed the ducks at the nearby park.

The kids finally started school.  All 3 at different schools with different bell schedules. The 2 oldest ride the bus, so that is something to get used to, but way less chaotic than driving them myself.  Brett, our realtor, gave us a yummy gift basket.

The weather hear is unbeatable in the fall.  Sterling goofed around in the dino outfit. Found Lincoln in his school costume parade.

We went trick or treating with the kids and switched off. We handed out over 200 candy bars which was a huge amount compared to Salt Lake where we only got zero to 2 trick or treaters a year.  We would leave treats on the porch and count how many were gone each year. Last year was Capri Suns and only 2 were gone. The streets looked comparable to a Disney movie set, crammed with trick or treaters and decorations. We will have to get used to this!

Happy Halloween from southern Utah!
