Yay, my new phone has my new pictures! Scott and I got Galaxy Note 10s. And we got the hugest sandwiches ever at Lagoon Arby's.
Makayla and I went to a paint night. The top picture is the original and ours are our interpretations of it. Really fun class!
Makayla had a baking contest party for her friends. They all voted, and she gave out prizes for the best dessert. She has a nice group of friends from school.
We were gifted tickets to FanX through Scott's acquaintance from the Salt Mine. Scott saw his old friend Tony there. Mak and I went back the next day to have some girl time.
Visited Bob who gave us yummy veggies, grapes, and flowers. Attempted to sell some trinkets at a kids fair in Bountiful.
Took the boys to their school carnival. And watched the progress of our school blocking the view.
And Makayla got braces on September 12th! This was a long time coming, and we researched 4 companies before making our choice. We went with McDonough Orthodontics. They had the best waiting room and a fair price.
Enjoyed ourselves at the state fair.
Scott's favorite thing from the fair was the Traeger. We love smoked food!
Attended neighbors Jesse and Katie's reception.
Had a nice lunch with brother Danny.
Sterling found a 4-leafed clover! And walked with Lincoln's class to the grocery store, Dan's.
Had a blast at Lagoon!
And loved my sister time up north.
Renewed our pass to Clark and completed a puzzle.
The best part of this month or even year was getting Lasik done on my eyes! At FanX, I entered a drawing and ended up winning a $1,000 coupon! I went to an appointment at The Lasik Vision Institute. It would have been $4,200 with the coupon applied I won at the fair. Wanting a second opinion to compare to, I booked one with Lasik Plus. Without a coupon, their out the door price was $3,500, which was $700 less than the place I had won the coupon for. Plus, I just felt better all around at the smaller place. So I went with it and I am super happy with the results! Good ending to September!
