We decided to venture out to Florida and see what the Universal Studios there has to offer. We stayed on their property in the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. It was a great experience!
Day 1
We stopped for dinner on the way to the airport. Then we caught a red eye flight.
We had some hours to pass before check-in, so we ate some brunch and went swimming.
We ended the night with putt putt at a really fun course.
Day 2
Our hotel provided a boat shuttle to and from Universal Studios, so that was nice to not have to do the long walk.

We had a great time exploring and catching the rides.
One of the special parts of the day was in Harry Potter land, where we zoomed in to watch Scott and Laura get married in Utah. We are happy they found each other after 4 long years. They are a good match!
Day 3
Have to document Sterling hold Scott's hand. So cute, and one of the last times he has done that.
We ate at the Chocolate Emporium restaurant, which had a fun theme and vibe.
Then we played at the water park and got some yummy chili dogs for dinner.
Day 4
We saw a mossy turtle in the morning, then hung out in Harry Potter land. We wrapped up day with the firework water show.
Day 5
After more rides and heading to the water park again, we stopped and got some fancy ice creams on the way to the hotel.
Day 6
After some frozen butterbeers and time in Dr. Suessland, we took a break and saw "Top Gun Maverick" in the theater to break things up. Then we caught some more rides. We finished the night eating at Antojitos, a tasty Mexican restaurant.
Day 7
The best part of this day, surprisingly, was eating in the Mythos Restaurant. We got some yummy peanut butter ice cream that was dreamy.
Day 8
Pretty chill day, wandered around Harry Potter-land, ate at Krusty Burger, and swam at the hotel.
Day 9
Had dinner at the Harry Potter restaurant and then got some treats later on.
Day 10
Last day of our trip. We caught our favorite rides again: Velociraptor, Gringott's Bank coaster, and Hagrid's motorcycle coaster.
Then we caught our flight home. If we visit again, we will shorten the Universal days and add in some Disney or Seaworld. Overall though, it was a great vacation!
