We met a happy baby Jake for the first time!
We stayed in a large cabin with room enough for all.
The kids went to their age group club for most of the day while adults attended classes and activities.
We participated in sacrament meeting outdoors.
Took family photos after.
We ate cafeteria style and the food was pretty decent.
Someone was exhausted!
Lincoln's favorite spot was the trampoline.
Sterling favored a swim.
We used the arts and crafts building to paint ceramics, stamp leather, and learn boondoggle. Makayla was fascinated with the boondoggle.
Lincoln specifically painted his cat half gray and half orange, in honor of our 2 cats at home.
Sterling made a leather coin purse.
For family night there was a talent show. Xander played the Charlie Brown theme while some danced and Wendy hula-hooped with books balanced on her head.
Had fun at family game night.
Adults played laser tag. Ben took it serious!
Celebrated Heber's birthday.
We made pottery in the most beautiful setting.
Our pots were not professional by any means. Maria, Dallin, and Maisy went to an earlier class.
Grandma and Grandpa conquered the ropes course.
The boys played 'Red Alert' and various computer games.
Frontier night was a hit.
Explored the wild west town.
Train ride.
Panned for gold.
Lumberjack race.
Cracked whips.
Flew in swings.
We crafted wooden pens.
This was mine from start to finish.
The process was interesting. Turned on the machine and sanded down the wood with tools. Then buffed, sealed, and assembled them.
Our finished products.
Hands down, my favorite was the archery. Perhaps a new hobby?
My cute sisters.
Caught a fish!
And a selfie.
Lincoln grabbed a drink.
Played games. Ping pong (not pictured) was my personal fav. I conquered Mom, Maisy, Wendy, Maria, and Scott. Dad defeated me, though.
Learned shuffleboard.
Played badminton.
And ended the fun with a big family dance.
Used the photo booth.
All in all, it was a great week! Always good to be together with everyone. Family time is the best!
