May 2019

Enjoyed the tulip festival with cousins.  Makayla drew a picture of Grandma Diane.

Went on a date with Marv and Vickie and showed them massaman curry.

Bought a new trailer to haul our new UTV (Utility Terrain Vehicle).  Our family discussed either going on an Alaskan cruise this summer or getting a UTV (they are the same price).  We agreed that the UTV would give us more memories than a 1 week cruise.  We have since named our vehicle "Helga" because her model is- Viking by Yamaha.  Helga is a viking-like name.

Hiked with the scouts to a new park.

Boys (aka mom) created their end of year projects.

Makayla performed with the choir.

Had a lovely Mother's Day.

Said goodbye to Renae, who I loved working with in Stake Young Womens.  I am now officially the Primary President.  Also bid farewell to our old 4-wheelers, including the green one that I rolled down the mountain- One of the top defining moments of my life.

Played at Dave & Busters.

Went on a cool date to the "Susan Powell- COLD" talk at Eccles Theater and then to Red Lobster.

Gamed at Scheels.

Met up with Bryan, Candi, Madison, and Vickie. And Scott took the kids to a movie, 'Avengers' or 'Aleta'. He has done both with them.

Stopped at Nickelmania.

Scott finally bought his Christmas gift from his parents.  They gave him money towards a new barbecue.  The new grill does a fabulous job with cooking things just right.

Went to a fun carnival pack meeting.

Progress of Brighton.

Took Helga on our first adventure to the West Desert.

Spent family time at the cemetery.

Bought new patio furniture.

Checked out the outdoor rec center pool with the ducks.

Helped out the the Egg Drop and both boys' eggs survived!  Then saw Sterling in the Wax Museum posing as a railroad worker.  Gazed at the greenest, Swiss-like, beautiful mountains.
