We dyed some eggs for Easter. We love to make golden rod with them on Easter morning.

Grandma Bjarnson moved retirement centers from Sandy to West Jordan. She receives more memory care at her new one. She is such a sweetheart! She was convinced this was her country farm at this last visit. She wanted Makayla to ride a horse and for us to pick some fruit.
I got "egged" by the young women presidency. My kind of egging, complete with a fancy chocolate egg from See's.

Makayla has been on a creative kick lately. She convinced me to help her bake plaster to paint. Then she decorated a jar with them.
One afternoon we spent at the Museum of Natural History.
One of my favorite things at the museum was remembering the tornado in 1999 on my mom's birthday. I was working at Burger King when it touched down and I had to take orders by hand and calculate it with a paper and pencil at the drive thru. They had to cook the food in a dark kitchen. A fun memory for me.
Sterling got to attend a library story time with Lincoln for once. He had a field trip in the morning and was off school in the afternoon this one time ever.
We went to Temple Square for a family night and saw "Meet the Mormons" at the visitors center. What a great movie! Even our kids behaved.
I spent about a few weeks down with my gallbladder issues and surgery procedures. I am feeling really great right now though!

I ended the month with one of my favorite things, a 50th year celebration for West Lake Junior High where I used to teach. I was only there for 3.5 years, but I was able to visit with many coworker friends. My previous principal is now the Director of Human Resources at Granite School District. We hugged and he told me I am welcome back to the district anytime and he will help me find a job if I ever want to. That really made my night! It just proves how important it is to leave on good terms.
I have so many good memories of Relo C-72 where I taught reading, English, and life management. Mostly I remember pumping milk during my lunch break for my babies. I have fond memories of teaching. The celebration reunion was everything I hoped it would be and more!
