Dane made him a creative sign.
He got some surprises. His main gift was a PS Vita (not pictured). It's a PlayStation brand Gameboy.
We went to Dave and Busters to celebrate.
They have state of the art cool games there.
We got dinner there and turned in our tickets for prizes. The boys got remote control cars and Makayla got a big unicorn squishie pillow.
Things I admire about Sterling:
- He is so gentle with our cats. So soft and protective and loving with them.
- Very creative! He will make random airplanes, cars, and boats and play with them.
- Such an improved reader. This last year he's made leaps and bounds with his reading and can read about anything.
- Also his handwriting and spelling have improved a great deal. His handwriting is much more legible now.
- Imaginative! Sometimes when I clean the house, he pretends he's a dump truck and zips around and helps me put away anything in his path.
- Business minded. Likes to sell and trade things to people. Wants to own a business one day.
- Fast! This kid can run and has so much energy. He can run faster than all of us.
- Good at skating. Really smooth at rollerblading. He can even make a quick circle backwards to stop, which makes me cringe.
- Kind. Even when the annoying neighbor comes over, he's willing to give him time.
- Into Roblox. It's an online world where you build things and play mini games for money. He lives and breathes this game. So does his brother.
When Sterling was little, he looked at me with his big blue eyes one day and asked, "Mom, is I a good boy?" Yes, Sterling, you are a good boy. I hope you always stay that way. Stay close to the church and your family and you will be just fine. You are awesome and we love you Sterling boy!
