September 2012

Well Makayla started Kindergarten on September 4th.  She is growing up so fast!

We went to her school carnival that same week.

Our family enjoyed going to the State Fair.  The farmland area is fun for the kids.

Can't forget pony rides.

And catching a few fish!

They had this cool building with fun science experiments.

This mama pig has her hands full!

The weather has been so beautiful, sometimes it's just fun to play in the backyard.

It is the perfect time of year for the zoo.

I could sit all day and admire their new Rocky Shores area.

We had a weekend getaway camping up in Coalville again. We took the kids for a little hike. 

At the circus, the lion tamer almost got his arm bitten off!  It was an entertaining show.

Lincoln was good for the first half of the show, but by the second half, he was bored.

We ended September with a trip to Frightmares at Lagoon and enjoyed the evening together.

August 2012

We packed in several fun things in August before Makayla headed back to school. 

We started off with our Fish Lake camping trip.

Then we headed to the Zoo.

We enjoyed some time at Heritage Park and the kids panned for gold, played with animals, and rode some horses.

Next we hung out at Clark Planetarium and caught some shows.

We saw a pretty view at the Natural History Museum.

There was a real tarantula running around the museum outside, yikes!

Tracy Aviary was a fun place to play.

The Leonardo Museum offered us some new things to try.

Can't forget the Discovery Children's Museum.

We loooved these new reserved parking spots they have downtown!

Next came Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum and special Listening exhibit.

The Thanksgiving Gardens are always so gorgeous.

Scott's favorite thing at the gardens besides driving a golf cart is feeding the masses of fish.

Scott's parents came up and played glow mini golf and several arcade games with us at Fat Cats.

We squeezed in 2 days at Lagoon, yahoo!

Makayla had her kindergarten testing.

Bummer that summer is over!
