April 2014

Sterling went to Kindergarten Orientation. I can not believe he will be old enough to go to school this fall! We are still deciding whether to send him or hold him back for a year.  (Birthday June 23rd)  Right now we are leaning toward sending him since they changed the mission age to 18.  Hmmmm..... decisions, decisions.

Makayla spent her allowance on a rock treasure hunt kit from Toys R Us.

Our neighborhood preschool ventured out to Liberty Park for a picnic.

I snuck this shot of the boys playing nicely. I love when they do that.

They have a love / hate relationship at this stage in life.

We had a peaceful little hike at the secret park. My kids loved throwing pebbles into the stream.

The library has been awesome this year at entertaining my kiddos.

The high school preschool went on a field trip to the Children's Museum.  My kids really enjoyed that.

We decided that we like Clark Planetarium enough to renew our family pass for another year.

Decorating cookies and eggs was a must for Easter preparations.

Went to to city egg hunt up the street. This is a favorite event they do.

Then we had another egg hunt and lunch at Grandma and Grandpa's.

Attended a preschool hunt too.

This note is the sweetest note I have ever seen Makayla independently write. She is so awesome!  It's funny, you would think to only write a note or give a treat to Santa, but my sweet girl is so thoughtful for anyone, even the tooth fairy or Easter bunny.

Looks like her note worked!

Cute kids! Sterling changed out of his church clothes so fast I didn't snap a shot of him.

Some Nickelmania fun.

During Spring Break we stuck around town. Scott worked massive amounts of hours at our rental property remodeling it for the purpose of selling it.  The kids did have many sleepovers and played hard during the time off school.

Went to a trade show at the expo center where Makayla found some goodies to buy.

I signed up the kids to build a recycle truck at Lowe's. It was chaotic but the kids learned how to use hammers.

Lincoln is such a boy. Our cat killed this mouse and left it on the back step. Lincoln picked it up and didn't mind inspecting it till I caught him and washed his hands for about 5 minutes. Ewww!

And finally squeezed in one last dinner at Cowboy Grub with Aunt Lisa before they moved locations. The waiter accidentally spilled my drink all over me, so I scored a free dinner! We had some good laughs about that.
