We started December off with making some yummy sugar cookies.
Then we went to a magic show at the library where Makayla and Scott were picked to help.
There was lots of snow to play in.
Makayla had fun making some gingerbread people and a candy house. She got to attend a Polar Express pajama party at school too.
Went to the Festival of Trees and saw some cool trees including one made of plastic 6 pack soda can holders, Sterling's favorite Hot Wheels one, and the tree in memory of my cousin's baby, Jack.
We were finally able to rent our back house downtown, after nearly 2 years of fighting with the city to get it legalized, yahoo! Our tenant failed to mention he drives the 30 foot Jingle Bus downtown and will be parking it in the driveway. Luckily the tenants in the fronthouse get along with him.
Makayla was recognized by the school district for her artwork.
She also created Aunt Lisa's birthday hat.
These cute kids painted some old houses they found with the decorations.
Warmed up at the Gateway for a second in between some movies at Clark.
Sterling had fun at his superhero preschool day.
Went and saw Makayla in her first grade singing program. She even got to ring some bells in the front for a song.
We visited Santa Claus a few times. Once randomly at Macey's and the other was at the Hebdon Christmas party.
We scored some pretty sweet tickets to the Tabernacle Christmas Concert. Too bad our other car with 6 people in it didn't find a parking spot until the concert was halfway over.
We attended a live nativity event put on by our stake.
Christmas Eve was at my parent's home.
Christmas came and was good to us. Lincoln asked for a remote control car.
Sterling wanted a remote control helicopter.
And Makayla hoped for a magic marker maker and some art supples.
The older two kids have sure been enjoying their bikes, coldness and all.
The RPA Christmas party included mini golfing after a delicious lunch at The Pizza Factory.
We went to Cedar City for a few days to celebrate Vickie's 60th birthday. She really wanted some precooked bacon at Sam's Club last time she was in town and we looked all over and couldn't find it. So Scott and I found it and decided to do a bacon theme to make her gift one to remember.
Look how good Christie is looking! Her chemo is done and she has one more operation in January.
Lots of game playing was to be had.

I couldn't find my kids for awhile, and wouldn't you know it, they were in a tiny closet playing an Ipad. We rang in the New Year with a yummy dinner of shrimp and lobster and lots of games.
On the way up to Salt Lake, we stopped and played at the Nickelmania in Spanish Fork. Happy 2014 Everyone!
