First day of school was August 11th. They start school so early down here! Lincoln is in 6th grade, his official first year at intermediate school. He gets to ride a bus.
Sterling is in 8th grade and is officially attending the middle school.
Makayla is in 10th grade and in her first official year at the high school. She and Sterling ride the bus together.
While the kids were at school, we tried out a Chinese food dive that randomly burned down a few months later. The kids got cookies to celebrate their first school day.
Tried out a new fun donut place, PinkBox.

We gifted Brandon some artwork and he bought us all sorts of ice cream. This guy is generous, but we worry because he is not able to pay his bills.
