Sisters Tulip Festival Trip

My sisters and I had the best getaway to Blaine, Washington and the tulip festival.  We found a cute little restaurant called "The Sisters" which was pretty relatable.

We really enjoyed going to the tulip festival in Skagit county the next day.  So many pretty colors and good company to share it with.  Then we got some yummy pie and lunch.

Next up was the peace bridge in between US and Canada.  We stepped foot in Canada on a little side street and were quickly ushered back to America.  The border patrol guards the boundary pretty well.

Then we walked along the beach and relaxed by the ocean.  We also celebrated Wendy's birthday at dinner.

We stopped by the troll under the bridge then they dropped me off at the airport. They hung out at Pike's Place and I caught my flight home and checked out the new Pinball Hall of  Fame location.  Being with my sisters was pretty great! I love them.  Thanks to Maisy for organizing this getaway.

April 2022

Makayla released ladybugs and the best cats palled around.

Sterling flew his drone, Mak made a science project, and Lizzy stopped by.

Makayla had a volleyball tournament, Sterling got evaluated for braces and tried the lawnmower, and Lincoln earned a reward from school.

Wendy's family came to town and we swam and played games.

Flowers bloomed. Then.... we literally got home from church and all the kids started fighting! What in the world?

Rosco celebrated his 9th birthday!

The slide had a big hole that Scott repaired.

Sterling's choir concert was quite entertaining!

For youth groups, the kids had a nerf war, hiked, introduced the camp theme, and made sling shots.

We bought a red cursed tree (it said it was reserved for someone else) which ended up dying.  The cats snoozed.

Elder Barrek Perkins came home from his mission (California and Russia). We were happy to greet him!

We had a nice Easter celebration and ended with dinner at Grandma & Grandpa Paxton's home.

Random pics of Maria and Danny's families.

Pics of a cactus and Scott thinning the peach tree.

Makayla and I headed up north for another volleyball tournament.  We stayed at Wendy's house.  Then I visited Maria's family and Uncle Mike and Emiliya and their cute dogs.  I passed 41k miles in the van on my way home.
