Well, I would have blogged earlier about Easter, but I left my camera at my parent's house and couldn't get it until now. So that's the reason it's a little late.
Well, at the Paxton household we didn't do much Sunday morning since Scott had bishopbric/ church meetings from 7am-3pm. (Hooray!! He got released too!) We agreed that it wouldn't be as fun doing Easter without everybody. So after Scott got home we went to my parent's and had a yummy dinner and an egg hunt for Makayla.
Kayla with Uncle DannyThen we really celebrated Easter on Monday morning since I had my last day of Spring Break off school. We woke Makayla up and took her on a fantastic Easter Egg hunt in the backyard. She really had a blast! Then we made golden-rod (a Hebdon must! tradition) and let Makayla enjoy her basket while we happily watched.
Then we got really brave and took Makayla to her 1st big movie. It wasn't too fancy: Bolt at the Valley Fair Movies. She actually did awesome. Scott took her out for 15 minutes in the middle, and I think that did the trick! Plus of course buying popcorn & a drink to keep her entertained.
We'll have to do that again before we have kid #2 in about 9 weeks! My due date is actually June 17th instead of the 23rd according to my Dr. So the baby chart up top is about a week behind.

Wow - for some odd reason those pictures of Makayla suddenly look like the pictures of you (Kristin) when you were little! I love it!
And what a happy Easter - looks like Makayla got the hang of it, and what fun - a movie! We loved that movie, and I'm sure it was fun for Makayla. After we watched it, Jake kept asking to watch the 'dog' movie for a few days (it was a welcome relief to asking for the 'car' movie every day).
9 weeks! Wow! Thats coming up fast! Makayla is so cute! Glad you guys had a good easter... we need to get together soon!!
Cute Easter pictures! I have yet to attempt taking my kids to an actual movie theater...I'm glad to know your experience with taking Makayla to one went well! :o)
MaKayla is getting so big. Isn't it sad how fast they grow up. But they sure make Holidays a ton of fun.
This is kind of random... but how in the world did Danny get so big? I guess it has been like 10 years since I have seen him, but seriously, he's all grown up now. (Told you that was totally out of no where).
Looks fun! My kids loved Bolt too.
