We had a great time going to a Bjarnson Family Reunion organized by my sister Maisy. Thanks to her, we were able to stay a few days and make some great memories up in Midway, Utah.
We played bunches of games. Makayla was fascinated with the corded in wall phone. She pretended she was a Burger King worker and took (pretend) people's orders on the phone. Watching her be silly was fun. Plus, I used to work at Burger King, so it was nostalgic for me.
Walks and crafts and games were good.
Our family was in charge of dinner the 2nd night. We chose to have Hawaiian haystacks and all the trimmings. Makayla found these cute bear rice krispie treats online and we went to work to create them. To top it off, we brought a pinata.
The kids loved hitting it open and getting treats and prizes.
Hung out some more and then Danny helped everyone make tye dye shirts.
Then went swimming and did some more crafts. Makayla led the magnet activity.
Danny brought his new girlfriend Camille. * They got engaged Fall 2020 and are expecting a baby February 2021. (This post has taken lots of time in between moving and craziness.)
We ended our trip with some family photos. Thanks for the fun trip Maisy!
