February 2020

Started the month out right with baby Gideon's baby blessing. The testimony meeting was especially touching. Spending time with family was a bonus.

Then we got the storm of the year on February 3rd.  Enough snow fell that Canyons District called a snow day and school was closed.

School projects were completed like Bingo Night, ceramics, and Lincoln's biography project on Orville Wright.

Marv and Vickie came up for a little early celebration for Scott's birthday. We headed to the Olive Garden. The next day we watched Makayla play volleyball.

On Scott's actual birthday, we headed to Dave & Busters for some fun. Then went to Famous Dave's for dinner. Finally, we had a yummy cake from Mrs. Backer's Bakery downtown.  Happy 40th Scott! He works really hard for us and we love him.

For his birthday I gave him tickets to see "The Illusionists" at the Eccles Theater. We had fun with that.

Had a nice Valentine's Day- a lunchdate and fondue dinner. Makayla ended up babysitting for the Carlsons, her new favorite family in the ward.

Cats relaxed.

The boys enjoyed Scouts for some last activities.

The one and only time that we tried the 'self cleaning' mode on our oven, broke and melted it.  Sad! 1k later, we were able to get a new one installed from RC Willey.  Never doing self cleaning mode again!

Took Grandma out to Grantsville to another volleyball tournament. She spent time catching up with Jackie, her high school best friend.

Danny and I had a nice lunch at Costa Vida, complete with the fire alarm going off and having to exit the building.

I was a sucker for a free first aid kit. I made Scott and myself sit through a 2 hour presentation about expensive alarms for the house to earn this.  Oh boy!

Mak and I went to a Hebdon party that my parents hosted and Sterling created a potato dude.

And watched the progress of Brighton.
