November 2019

Nothing like getting stuck in a carwash AFTER it is complete.  Not quite sure what to do, I pressed the 'emergency exit' red button, hoping it would open the door.  Nothing.  Next, I planned to crawl out the little opening in the garage door and buy another carwash to open the back door  Just then, a car pulled up and bought a carwash and the backdoor opened.  I trotted over to him and explained my predicament and he explained it to the car behind him.  So after they backed up, then I carefully backed up, which is hard, by the way.  Anyhow, what a crazy experience that I hope to never repeat again!

The Activity Day girls gave me sweet thank you cards.  The one at the top middle was quite ironic. It wished me healthiness and to not get sick. I ended up with the worst cold I've had all year right after that.  Weird.  Also, I donated a bunch of stuff.

Got some fresh air outside.

Sterling went on a fun field trip to Utah County and I hit my 40 pound weight loss!

Enjoyed watching Sterling in his groove as a cowboy/miner in his Utah Tall Tales play.

Makayla donated some rocks to her Utah Studies teacher.  Plus, she was inducted into 'National Junior Honor's Society'.

Vickie invited myself and Candalyn to Time Out For Women and we really enjoyed that.  We heard Nathan Pacheco and the Bonner Family and lots of uplifting speakers.

Silly cats and girl.

Had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner with the Bjarnson side.  We brought pickles, olives, jam, green bean casserole, a pumpkin pie, and whipped cream.  We admired how perfect Xander looked in Danny's letter-jacket.

Makayla kept the kids busy for quite awhile.  She made a code sheet that had a message.  After the kids cracked the code, they went on a treasure hunt for little toys.

We were so happy to have Maisy's family in town for Thanksgiving (a rarity). Wish we could see her more.

And noted the school progress that stole our mountain view.
