August 2019

My phone lost a bunch of pictures.  We upgraded phones and thought we backed up my photos, but they are missing which makes me sad.  Oh well.  More pictures eventually.

Makayla finally talked us unto getting her a new phone, a Samsung s10.  She is spoiled and is supposed to help us clean one room a day to help out with the cost.  We also headed to Dave and Busters to play games one last time before school started.

Makayla got a sweet tour of the Conference Center.  We even went in some tunnels until we learned that people without passes are not allowed down there.  "Diane", "Diane Bjarnson" the 'men in black' security guards sternly said as we were in a tunnel.  They flagged us because Makayla is too young to have a pass.  Memories. And we passed 28K miles on the van.

Got to meet Shara's little baby, Kolton, from Micronesia (and Arizona).  Very surprising that she is starting over with kid #4!  She told me the story of how it was meant to be and she woke up at 3am one day feeling it was urgent that she submitted her adoption application.  By 10am the SAME day, she received the call about Kolton, and the rest is history!

Went to see my 1st counselor, Catherine Bohman, in a singing recital. Bonus- her brother, Steve Nelson from The Piano Guys was there too.  She has an amazing singing voice. And the progress of Brighton will block our mountain view.

Grandma Hebdon turned 89 years old!  And she had a bubble themed party.  Finally got the 4 generation picture that I have wanted for so many years, yeah!!!

Sterling with bubbles and a praying mantis that we hatched.

And some first day of school photos.  I scoured the computer again for any lost August pics, but they are gone forever.  Sadness. :(
