He was not thrilled about getting pictures for his invite, so we did the whole session in about 20 minutes plus driving time to the Draper Temple. And he was rewarded with ice cream after.
The night before his baptism, he could not sleep. He told us he was too excited about his baptism! That made us happy and was the first emotion he showed about wanting to join the church.
Then the big day finally came!
Lots of family came to spend his special day with him. Grandma Diane and Grandma Vickie spoke on baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost. Aunt Wendy and Aunt Maria handled the music. Uncle Bryan and Uncle Ben offered the prayers. Mom (myself) gave the spotlight. And Dad baptized Lincoln while Grandpa Marv and Grandpa Matt were the witnesses.

We were so lucky that by chance, no one else in the Stake was on the schedule to be baptized. Lincoln got his own personal baptism which was awesome.
Lincoln is very loved to have so many family come and support him. Plus his primary teacher, Sister Amie Dresen came too.
Afterward, we had a delicious luncheon with club sandwiches from Macey's grocery store, chips, veggies, and mint brownies from Dunford Bakery.
The vehicles in our yard looked like a used car lot.
Lincoln is loved by the Bjarnson side.
Lincoln is adored by the Paxton side.
All in all, a very wonderful day! We hope Lincoln remembers how loved he is and how his baptism was a very good choice in life. We hope he stays close to church and develops a strong testimony. We love you Lincoln!
