Makayla sure is a joy to have around. She is always doing clubs and parties for her little brothers. She creates books to share with her family and class at school. She is always serving others. She wants to make people happy. She has the best ideas for creating art. She is awesome and we love her so much!
Sweet Makayla turned 8 on February 27th. For her birthday, she specifically wanted new earrings, so we went to Claire's and I let her pick out 20 dollars worth of earrings. Lucky for her, they were having an awesome sale! Pair that with a 25% off coupon and she was able to score 49 pairs of earrings. Lucky girl!
Makayla requested to spend time at the Museum of Curiosity for her birthday. So we took Grandma Diane and spent a few hours down there.
Even Dad came, which was pretty neat! It was his first time visiting that museum.
She had fun opening presents all day since her birthday was on a Friday off school.
Makayla chose to eat at The Pizza Factory for dinner, so we enjoyed that. They even gave her a birthday ice cream!
Then we came home and blew out candles and opened gifts. We were too full from dinner to eat any more desserts.
Makayla is all about creating things so she got a lot of arts and crafts supplies. She had a great birthday!
