March 2014

We celebrated Lincoln's 3rd birthday March 5th. I can't believe he is that old already!

We met our preschool group at Wheeler Farm in the morning.

Then we had a picnic at the park.

We continuted the celebration at a McDonald's playplace for dinner.  Uncle Ben and Grandma and Grandpa joined us.

Other happenings this month:

We went and saw Makayla sing with her grade.

Now Grandma Paxton is in a rest home.  She is getting weaker and slowing down. She looks good in this picture, but I went 3 weeks later and it was sad to see the difference.  But she is nearly 91.

Scott randomly did a Happy Day for everyone and bought us gifts for fun.  I got Saratov Approach, Makayla got some wooden magnets to paint, Sters got a truck set, and Links got a bubble gun.

Speaking of Scott, he sure is a character!  He was on this kick with Makayla's fingernail polish for about one week, where he would paint his nails during story time at night and show them off to us and act *ahem, femmy, and then peel them off to be ready for the next day.

A leprechaun liked Makayla's idea to leave some candy and a card and gifted us some cookies.  We also loved our corned beef and cabbage meal, yum!

Nickelmania, you are still our favorite hangout!

We are loving the good weather. We play at the high school.

And at the elemenatary school.

And in the backyard.

And at our special hidden park.

The kids made kites to fly at the Hebdon party.

This was probably the coolest kite there. One kite flew away much to the dismay of my cousin's son.

Went to the Zoo with the preschool too.

It sure rained a lot this month. After this puddle splashing, the kids boots took one week to dry out!

I borrowed this photo from the ward newsletter. We had a fun etiquette dinner for young womens.

Our nephew Camron had his appendix taken out after it basically ruptured.  Scary!! This is the same family who has dealt with cancer over the past year. Christie's hair is finally coming back and she looks so good!

The best thing we did this month was go to Lagoon on opening day, March 29th.

The kids were being silly in Pioneer Villiage.

Lincoln is finally tall enough to go on about six more rides including the Scrambler, Tidal Wave, and Bombora now! Hopefully we can pack in several fun times there this season.
