Makayla was chosen for Student of the Month on October 1st. I am so proud of her! I know she is a happy friendly student who tries her best. She also earned this last year. Good job Makayla!
Sterling went on a zoo field trip with his preschool class. His leader this year is Jaycee. She is very good with him as far as I can tell. Lincoln and I tagged along to the zoo also for some entertainment.
We took advantage of General Conference weekend and headed out camping up to the Hot Springs Campground up in Garland. Let me tell you, the natural heated spring-water was just fantastic even when the temperature outside of the pool was at least 20 degrees cooler than the water!
A nice little getaway, and we were able to listen to conference up there. We love the autumn leaves in their beautiful array of colors.
And randomly, we happened to see that there was a special Malt-o-Meal cereal sale that they do once a year in Tremonton, so we were able to stock up on some bags of cereal for one dollar each! 18 we ended up getting.
Of course we had to take advantage of Frightmares at Lagoon.
We decided that we definitely got our money's worth out of the passes. We went to Frightmares 6 times this year! And our kids, well especially Makayla, grew over the summer. She was able to ride the Air Race ride, 48" requirement, the last 2 times we visited Lagoon. But she had to trade in the little kiddie boat ride to do that. She is now too tall for that one.
Sometimes we were the only ones on a ride, like the Tidal Wave with Scott and our 2 older kids.

Makayla and I had to make a paper doll of herself in her Halloween costume for school. I thought it turned out pretty cute!
The boys went to the library Halloween party and gathered some treats.
We explored Gardner Village one evening and looked for witches.
We adopted a new cat, Rosco, a 6 month old male from a super pet adoption event at the State Fair Park. He is so hyper and cuddly too; a great fit for our family. We need to get him declawed in the front paws asap because he keeps piercing holes in our new chairs. :(
Makayla won the best crazy hair award in her class for red ribbon week.
We wanted to try something new as a family, so we ventured out to a crazy corn maze one Saturday afternoon.
We navigated the pathways and played tag, plus they had some other fun things like the train ride and some slides made out of pipes.
Scott and I decided it was time for a date, so we went to dinner, then Nightmare on 13th haunted house, and then for some nitro freezed ice cream. We decided we need to go on dates more often!
We went to the Spook-a-Boo at the Zoo for the first time and decided that the crowds were pretty insane. Don't know if we will brave that again.
Some more pretty fall pictures. The bridge is by our bank, so we explored it.
We went to the Hebdon Halloween party and enjoyed seeing the family. The Jeffersons did a great job with the party.
Went to the ward trunk-or-treat on Halloween and then headed to our friends, the Robinson's neighborhood.
There was a castle for the kids to play on and of course the fun spook alley garage. Then we swung past Grandma Paxton and Aunt Lisa's home.
Makayla was excited to count her 75 pieces of candy!
