Coalville Camping Trip

We went up to Coalville to go camping for a quick getaway during September. Marv and Vickie had a few Saturdays off from the temple (they serve in the Saint George Temple), while it was closed for cleaning and wanted to do something fun, so they came up to spend time with us.

Pretty rainy on the drive up there!

We love watching the trains pass by on the old Lincoln Highway.

Scott got carried away and hiked way too far up the hill.

Cute Lincoln posing for a picture.

We checked out the Devil's Slide in Morgan County. This is part of nature, not man-made.

Vickie is so excited to go to any cemetery around. She is a genealogy guru. We went to two different ones and stayed awhile at each. She even found some relatives and felt accomplished.

Pretty rainbow while we drove back from a cemetery.

The large bird nest was impressive!

These mushrooms were huge!

Our campground was so scenic and pretty!

We were backed up to a river.

And could walk to a pond.

Lincoln found a fuzzy caterpillar.

Discovered a beaver eaten tree.

Had a good weekend getaway! The End.
