September 2013

Sterling started his preschool classes this month at Bengal Paw Preschool. Having it right across the street is super convenient.  So far, he is loving it!

We have also been going to the library for storytime.

We met Wendy and Dan's new baby, little Heber, born August 16th. He is such a cutie!

Went to a Hebdon Party in Grandma's backyard.

We visited the Utah State Fair and played several hours there.

The weather was uncooperative at the fair. It rained off and on a few times.

The butter sculpture.
Love the look of this cute goat!
This chess set was unique because it is angels vs. devils.

Before we knew it, it was bedtime and we had to get the kids home.

We ventured out to Rocky Mountain Raceway to see the Trailer Demolition Derby. (Something Scott was really excited about.) Basically all these drivers decorate their beat up trailers and try to crash into the other ones while they are doing figure eights on the track. The last intact trailer wins a cash prize.  It was more entertaining than I was expecting!

The older two kids were in swimming lessons this month.  They both had fun and Makayla seemed to pick up some helpful skills.

Of course Lagoon was on the list.  This is the best time of year there because it's not that crowded.

Another day, the arcade was fun!

Went on a behind the scenes tour of the tabernacle, which was pretty awesome! I will do another post about that along with our camping trip up to Coalville.

The kids had fun making ice cream with some as seen on tv gimmick from Aunt Lisa.

We caught the new train movie and a rock laser music show at Clark Planetarium.

Speaking of lasers, Scott loves his 30 dollar laser he ordered off Amazon.

Played with a fun airplane toy that already broke (we have little boys).

Old table

Updated our kitchen table to a bigger one that seats us better.

Lincoln threw a rock a Sterling's head. Yuck! Luckily, liquid bandage worked for it after I cleaned it up.

Went to a community theater play, Alice in Wonderland, with my mom. This version had lobsters in it, weird! But the play was good.

Free entertainment watching Dan's get remodeled.

Makayla lost her second tooth, middle bottom, to match her other missing one.  She made the tooth fairy four cards to try to score something extra. She did get some Pixie Stix along with her money. :)

And a sweet old lady from the neighborhood gave me a bread baking lesson. It turned out yummy!
