After Picture
We had a good time last night. We went and picked out our pumpkins and then came home and went to work. Scott decided to make his pumpkin an evil one and I made mine a happy one.
Can you tell who's whose?
If you haven't carved your pumpkin yet, you ought to save your seeds and make this yummy recipe with them:
2 c. unwashed pumpkin seeds
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 1/2 tbsp. melted butter
1 1/4 tsp. seasoning salt
Clean seeds off fairly well, but don't wash. Combine ingredients in bowl until seeds are coated. Spread on a cookie sheet. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Stir at least once during cook time until seeds are crisp, dry, and golden brown. Tip: for easy clean up, line cookie sheet with tinfoil, works great! Store seeds in a ziploc bag or tupperware. Enjoy!

thanks for that recipe! Tom and I just went and got pumpkins and we've been totally looking forward to cooking the seeds! I am going to use your recipe. It sounds delicious! Very impressive pumpkins by the way :)
Those are some good-lookin' pumpkins! What did Makayla do while you guys were carving?
Makayla ended up half the time being amazed at us doing something new and the other half she colored with crayons on paper and unfortunately, all over our tile floor. At least it came off with some scrubbing,:o)
Cute pumpkins! I love how they turned out! :o)
