December 2022

Makayla and her friends Daphne, Madi, and Lizzy had a good time.  Mak created some fancy nails and a mini festive house.

We checked out Pinkbox Donuts, the boys flew planes, and Sterling gave his first talk in church.

The cats literally broke our Christmas tree by jumping up it and chasing each other!  Luckily, Scott found a hack online to fix it.  (You mix baking soda with the superglue and it strengthens things).  We cleaned out and fixed up the back part of the office.

The Dickens Festival was fun with my friend Lena.  We also grabbed gifts for neighbors and the ward council.

My parents had a great time on their mission with visits from Ken and Charlette.

The youth gave yard clean up service and our ward had a fancy Christmas party with 3 wise men (Roger, Mickey. and David).

Random outside pics and we got the 12 days of Christmas from a ward friend (Leslie). That was really fun to receive (1st time ever!) plus a thoughtful gift from Chal and Aimee.

Ordered yummy steaks for the company party.

I had strange chest pains and twitching, so went in to be checked.  Everything came out normal.  I was told "chest pain, undiagnosed, with possible anxiety". Not sure why I felt this, but wanted to rule out anything.

We had youth groups and neighbor friends over for some game nights.

Set up our Christmas village and Scott put together a really fun cup game for us.

Had a nice Christmas for all.  Lincoln wanted a remote control airplane, Sterling asked for an airsoft gun, and Makayla wanted a desk for her room. I got a fun Snacktime Cabbage Patch Kid that was recalled back then for eating hair and fingers.  And Scott wanted videogames for the new gameroom.

The boys had a great time playing with remote control mini cars and flying airplanes on the airfield.

Handsome boys, plus a door full of cards from loved ones.

The inserts we sent to friends and family.

And celebrated New Year's Eve and Vickie's birthday with the Paxtons.  Farewell 2022 and Hello 2023!
