Makayla and Sterling got to go on a youth super activity to Zions Ponderosa Ranch. Supposedly, they hiked several miles on both days. They even had to wear special rented boots to protect their feet. Sounds exhausting, but they were troopers!
Enjoyed the sweet cats, a roadrunner, and a wild desert tortoise.
Grew some fruit (nectarines) and made some jam.
Lincoln took a rare bubble-bath and we went to dinner.
Cousin Barrek came home from his mission, so we welcomed him. Jayden also returns home in a few months.
We went to a Clark show in Salt Lake and hung out at Bruce & Jan's place at a reunion.
There was a huge crack in our tire that we luckily noticed before driving home, so we bought new tires.
My parent got called to serve as missionaries at the Polynesian Cultural Center on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. We supported them at their farewell and enjoyed visiting with family and friends. My mom will work at a shop and give ukulele lessons and sell material. My dad will be an electrician and help the local workers learn safety and how to do things following the codes. They will also help in a young adult singles ward.
We played at Nickelmania on our way home the next day.
Makayla had volleyball practice, so I checked out Tuacahn on one of my walks.
