Disneyworld!!!

We had a great Spring Break and ventured out to Disneyworld!

Day 1
We caught a red eye flight and landed in Florida in the morning.

First up was a safari ride.  Then we got some food. The soda nozzle fell into Scott's drink and the workers gave our kids free Simba cupcakes because we handled it well.  It pays to be kind!  Then we explored the Avatar land and the dinosaur ride.  Everyone was pretty tired by the end because of traveling.

Day 2
Lincoln's foot was bothering him to the point of tears, so we opted to rent a wheelchair. (He went water sliding two days before and probably injured it.)  The lady helping us took pity on our situation and gifted us a special pass to get times for the rides and come back later.  She was so amazing to help us out, so we could catch more things. We know we were blessed by her help.  We are thankful that she stepped in to make our trip better!

We were at Hollywood Studios this day.  We loved the Tower of Terror and Star Wars Land.  The most impressive new ride was Mickey's Runaway Railway.

Day 3
We spent the day at Magic Kingdom.  Everything was great, especially going to Tom Sawyer's Island and exploring. The bears music show was fun to see.  Splash Mountain was shorter than the California one.

Day 4
We headed back to Hollywood Studios.  We were lucky and got tickets to go on the new Star Wars Ride: Rise of the Resistance.  We tried outer space milk. We played in Toyland. We ate at a science fiction 50's diner.  We got to watch cartoons while being served dinner in cars, which was fun.  The boys built light sabers as their main souvenirs.

Day 5
We finally made it over to Epcot.  Going on the Test Track, and the ride inside the ball were fun.

Day 6
We played at Animal Kingdom.  A new favorite ride was Everest which is like Matterhorn, but better because it goes backwards halfway through. We had a nice dinner at Rain Forest Cafe.  After, we hopped over to Magic Kingdom.

Day 7
We began the day at Hollywood Studios and then went over to Magic Kingdom in the evening.

Day 8
We were in Magic Kingdom and enjoyed that.  They have a Seven  Dwarves Train Mine rollercoaster which was fun.

Day 9

Our last day was at Epcot.  It was fun going on the garden boat ride and  Figment.  Then we bipped over to Hollywood Studios for a few last rides including the Aerosmith rollercoaster and the Slinky Dog Dash.  Then came back to Epcot.

Day 10
We mini golfed and ate pizza in the morning before we caught our flight home.  Changing flights was stressful because the new terminal in SLC was a forever walk.  Luckily Makayla ran ahead and got them to hold the plane while we caught up.

All in all, the trip was fantastic!  Taking our family to new parks was fun for everyone.  We love that  we were are tall enough for the rides.  Lincoln's foot injury was a bummer, but ended up being a blessing because we were able to improve his mood with with wheelchair and time rides better.  Pin trading added a joyful dimension. We made some magical memories!
