August 2018

We toured Butler Middle School for Makayla!  Her locker combination is taller than she is. We have a middle schooler!  And a cutely decorated locker.

I passed 23K miles on my van. And Kayla and Giz snuggled.

They officially started demolishing Brighton.  We watched them  move the phone towers and crumble the playground where they boys played at preschool.  Goodbye memories.

We used our Classic pass a few more times.

Sadly, the slides are being torn down for another building.

The kids swam a final time in the kiddie pool.

Crazy boys, with neighbor Nick, shot tomatoes in the backyard. Attended back to school night.

School started August 22nd.  Makayla is in 6th grade at the middle school.  Her home room teacher is Mrs. Griffiths, a gym teacher.  Makayla wants to be a business owner when she grows up.

Sterling entered 4th grade. His homeroom teacher is Mrs. Robinson, who just had a baby girl. So Dr. Francis was his long term sub for a few months.  He wants to be a business owner.

Lincoln entered 2nd grade in Mrs. Patino's class.  He wants to be a chef or a policeman.

After school surprises.

Makayla made us some cookies  and chocolate dipped strawberries all by herself.

Kayla got her hair cut. Went to the Bradshaw reunion at a park.

Stopped by and visited a dear friend, Cindie; plus our old 4-plex we fixed up and lived in for 3 years.

Sterling all ready for school. We had a nice bowling date.
