Went downtown and visited my parents at their once weekly post. They gave us a tour of the Conference Center. Then we grabbed lunch at City Creek.
Bowled at Fat Cats and got the pinata ready for our reunion.
Spent the 4th of July at the parade (with Makayla's clever sign) and went up to Cherry Hill and camped.
The rest of the Bjarnsons came up the next day for 2 nights to swim and do the activities. Makayla taught cousins how to make slime (her current obsession).
The kids loved the pinata we brought up. All 14 grandkids lined up in age order, so fun!
After laser tag at night and breakfast in the morning, we packed up camp.
Makayla wrote a sweet note to the tooth fairy explaining why her tooth was missing. (Thrown out in a Tootsie Roll)
Flew an airplane over at the high school. Little did we know it would sail over the fence and we would have to go get it. We were smarter the next time and went to a park.
Played at some parks.
Had a good adventure at a hidden park in West Jordan. We were supposed to go to Classic, but it was closed for a party. This was a cool find.
Saw our city float and our friend Penny at the float preview party.
Our Bosch washing machine of only 5 years crapped out, leaving us in a bind with wet, unclean clothes. After spending $16 at the laundromat (and the headache of it all) for only 3 loads, we bought an LG one. Hopefully it lasts awhile! $1,300 when all was said and done. Geez Louis!
Enjoyed riding at Brighton.
Saw 'Ant Man 2'.
Attended Butlerville Days.
We took my parents to Heritage Park and they took us to Sizzler to celebrate my birthday.
Was gifted some Bees baseball tickets from my friend Penny.
Had a good birthday. Was spoiled with a caramel de leche cake and yummy sushi. Went to see the play 'Big' with Makayla and my Mom.
Ended the month with some Fat Cats arcades.
