Made some goo and shared with cousin Ava.
Watched the cats.
Played games.
Went to Junior Achievement with Makayla's grade. The whole top floor of Discovery Children's Museum is a pretty impressive town called J Biz-Town.
Cute Makayla was chosen to be Mayor of the town. She ran it from the city office and had to be brave and give opening and closing speeches plus conduct the affairs of the town. She did awesome!
I looked over the bank where her friends Jeffery and Alex worked.
Her friend Mark was a utility guy. Overall, the day was a great experience.
Tried a new Chinese buffet and Zaxby's chicken.
She made a little calendar. Kind of sad, my kids don't care about the crafts as much anymore.
Now if she will use it!
Supported the science fair. Makayla explored how many shuffles it takes to get a perfect shuffle - no more than 2 cards of the same suit in a row. In case you are wondering: it's 10 shuffles. Lincoln worked with his friends Emma, Robert, and Evan. Sterling worked with his friend Nick.
Kayla drew a picture of us sledding and Sterling was highlighted at school.
Had a fun time at the Curiosity Museum. The pic of my mom was taken a year ago. She is so energetic and a fun grandma!
We got dumped on!
Technonerds.
Ended the month with a zoo visit. Saw some burrowing owls which was perfect, since we were reading "Hoot" as a family at the time. (A book about saving burrowing owls.)
