We got family pictures in the woods of Enoch. The photographer changed memory cards during our shoot and the 1st memory card fell out of her pocket. She lost it and didn't realize this until later that night. She went back and looked for it to no avail. Then she called Vickie and explained the situation. We were going to have to schedule a retake unless we found it.
Everyone's schedules were crazy. Plus, Christie's hair was getting worse and she didn't want to wear a hat in the retakes or have ugly hair. Supposedly, she sprayed glue on her hair to get it to stay even for these pictures. She said a prayer for all of us that we would find the sd card. We went and looked (minus Grandpa and the little kids) and we turned over leaves with our feet and used flashlights. I made a deal with Heavenly Father that I would share this experience in my testimony if we found the card.
Barrek (Christie's oldest son), ended up finding the sd card! What a relief! We said a prayer of thanksgiving right there in the forest in the middle of the dark Candalyn said it. Again, what a relief that the card was found! We only had a 1 hour window to look for the card. We were headed the Cedar City Temple open house later that night. The card was found in the perfect amount of time and we were able to make it to the open house. We witnessed a true miracle! It's not every day you find an sd card the size of a quarter in the middle of the forest, under 4 inches of fallen leaves, in the complete darkness. We know angels helped us. This is one memory I will never forget. I followed through with sharing my testimony. In the grand scheme of things, this might not be an important thing. But Heavenly Father knew finding the sd card was important to us, and especially to Christie; and thanks be to Him for allowing a miracle to happen.
