Sterling turned 7 years old on June 23rd. This picture is from Yellowstone 2 years ago. Sterling is such a bright light in our family. He does goofy dances, makes crazy noises, teases plenty, and he makes us laugh. He is a chip off the old block, sharing similar personality traits with his dad. He collects things too and will happily pick up things off the street to add to his collection. He likes car games and also building car haulers with his magnet toys. His latest favorite toy is a jeep and trailer hooked together that haul his money, rocks, and cars around. We love you son!
Sterling wanted a Build a Bear dog for his birthday, so we took him a few days early to pick one.
He helped stuff it.
And washed him.
And he named him Oakley after our cousin's similar looking dog who recently passed away.
Then came the big day!
He opened up presents spread out over every hour or two.
He got his wish of a double propeller helicopter.
He chose a cheese pizza for lunch at Fat Cats Pizza Factory.
Then we mini golfed. We were going to go bowling too, but it was too crowded. The kids chose to spend their bowling and arcade money at a toy store instead, since it was such as madhouse at Fat Cats.
Sterling picked up a pretty cool remote control truck with his arcade money combined with Grandma Vickie's birthday money.
Then it was time for ice cream cake and the last gifts. Happy Birthday Sterling!
