Sterling's Owie

We went to a playgroup at the park on July 1st with some neighborhood friends.  We had not been there 10 minutes when a chaotic scene ensued.  Out of nowhere, kids and moms were running up to me wildly asking if Sterling was my child.  He was playing tag with Makayla and her friend Parker when Sterling, running at full speed, tripped and fell into a picnic table bench.

Thank goodness for the first aid kit my friend Annie had in her car.  Also, the good samaritan who helped us, deserves a mention.  She must have been in the medical field with how calm she was.  She wrapped up Sterling's head and I whisked him away.

On the way to drop off brother and sister.  I woke Scott up and explained the situation. (He works graveyards.)

They were going to stitch it, but decided to try glue instead.

All glued up.

3 days later.

10 days later.

13 days later.

And one month later.  We've been putting scar cream on it daily.  Here's hoping the owie will fade fast.  Now all 3 of my kids have a major scar on their face.  Lincoln's is in the same place as Sterling's and Makayla's is in her left eyebrow.  Lucky us :(
