Found this large praying mantis in our flower bed. He is probably one of the original babies we let go a few months back.
Makayla was chosen for student of the month in her class for being positive. She is a great student! We are very lucky to have her in our family.
We spent a fun afternoon at the Museum of Curiosity with Grandma Diane and our cousins.
We found snow on the ground on November 15th. The kids were delighted to immediately play in it.
Makayla painted a picture of our city to help celebrate its birthday.

The library entertained us with puppet shows and magic shows.
We had a dance party in Scott's office one night. The kids loved it and want another one.
We played some table hockey at Nickelmania.
Lowe's offered us a science kit project to build. Grandma Vickie helped Makayla.
And we watched a good movie, "Big Hero 6".
_______________THANKSGIVING_______________
These two got to have a party at school with their classes combined. I was happy they picked each other for partners for the games.
For Thanksgiving we headed down to Cedar City. The first evening we played some Bingo.
Bryan and Candi hosted the dinner at their home. There was a kid table and an adult table.
We did a talent show that evening. There was everything from instruments played to tumbling to singing. My kids did a turkey skit with puppets and two songs. My favorite song is one my mom would sing with us. "I heard Mr. Turkey say, Gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble. It soon will be Thanksgiving day, Gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble. People think it is such fun. But I think that I shall run, and hide until the day is done. Gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble!" They were so cute!
The boys played some table hockey and some XBox.
These boys compared bellies.
Sterling loves Grandma's cat Princess. She doesn't feel the same way. All in all, a good trip with family, games, and fun.
