August 2014

The first few days of August were spent at Fish Lake with Scott's family.  We had a great time there and always enjoy our time with the Paxtons.

Grandma and Grandpa both turned 60 years old! This is a big milestone!  We had a celebration for them back in July right before Maisy's family moved to Alaska.  But we made sure to visit Grandma on her special day.

Makayla loves any kind of flowers.

I snuck a jalapeno plant in my flower bed and boy did it produce! Like 20+ jalapenos.  But they are hotter than I anticipated, so I don't think I'll be doing that plant again.

Rosco had his surgery where they pulled out 20 out of 30 teeth that his gums were attacking.  Now he only has the 4 big teeth and a few smaller ones.

We loved the Midvale fireworks with Mom & Danny & Dixie.

Makayla checked out a library craft book and convinced me to help her create this dragon.

We stopped by Lagoon for some entertainment.

They used to have special water it looks like. :)

They took a pavilion and turned it into a circus tent which was a fun surprise.

We had to check out the zoo and see what the remodel looked like.  The lion was playing like a little kitty cat.  He fooled us until he started play-fighting with his brother.

Attended the Bradshaw reunion despite the downpour.  It's always good to see my family.

Went to the Lowe's building project of a dancing alien.

Swam on a chilly day and had the pool all to ourselves.

These two squeezed in one last summer sleepover.

And just like that, school started again!  It rained on Makayla's first day.  She is loving her 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Pendley. So far so good!

This little guy started kindergarten a few days later with Miss Pulley, who we already know is great since she taught older sister.  Holy cow, when did he grow up?!

And this little turkey and I spend the afternoons together while brother and sister are away.  Potty training is our main goal at the moment.  And that's the latest on our fandamily.
