May 2014

Can you say wind damage? We came home from a movie to discover that the wind took a toll on our roof. We have been dealing with the insurance on this one.  The wind also shredded our trampoline cover and threw it 30 feet, but it was salvaged.

We sold our rental property on May 15th. Scott was so excited that he bought us "Happy I'm Not A Landlord Anymore Donuts" the next morning.

Cute Sterling graduated from Bengal Paw Preschool.  The black & white photo is his class.

The program was short and sweet. Sterling said that his favorite thing about the preschool was making pictures.  He is so excited to go to kindergarten in the fall at Makayla's big school! He has been working hard on his letters, numbers, and writing.

We had an end of year celebration at our house for the neighborhood preschool. It went very well.

Makayla had an egg drop event at her school. She chose to pad her egg with socks, plastic bags, and crumpled newspapers. Her egg survived falling off the school roof!

Enjoyed our stop to the arcade.

And Clark Planetarium.

We tried a new restaurant created by the owners of Cafe Rio called Pie Five. It was decent enough, but Lincoln was wiped out and slept.

And Grandma Paxton turned 91! We had a party for her at the care center where she now lives. Around 40 family and friends came and supported her.

Aunt Lisa is the very talented artist who sketched the pretty picture of Grandma.

My kids favorite part of the party? The sandbox of course.
